Agribusiness
There are two options available under our Agribusiness Degree: Agribusiness Management and Veterinary Business Management.
Agribusiness Management Option
For students interested in farm, food, or small business management, the agribusiness management option offers students a chance to learn the ins and outs of the largest industry in the world – the food and fiber industry. Students will gain skills necessary to become industry leaders in careers such as management, lending, and analytics. This option allows students to develop expertise in agricultural finance, management, marketing, and agricultural price risk management. Job opportunities with this major option are expanding rapidly as the agricultural sector expands to meet rapidly growing food demand and biofuel production.
Courses in this option include Food and Fiber Microeconomics, Accounting, Statistics, Agricultural Policy, Small Business Management, Marketing Agricultural Products, Agricultural Financial Management, and Agricultural Futures and Options.

Veterinary Business Management Option
For students planning to continue their education in veterinary school, the Veterinary Business Management Option prepares students to apply for veterinary school while also taking business-oriented classes to assist in running a veterinary practice. The wide variety of courses in this option enable students to obtain the skills necessary to be competitive applicants for veterinary school.
Courses in this major option include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Economics, and Accounting.
